Mary, Benny and Dennis - since I no longer live in Harford County and since my parents (Miles and Beryl Powers) have died, I no longer know about our old friends. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Delbert. I love the photo of him holding the fish because he looks so happy. When I think of the Overbays, I always think of your parents and how fond I was of them. It's been a long time since I've seen you but I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you.

Dennis:
I was suprised to see your dad's obituarie when I logged into the funeral home. I remember the good times we used to have when we all went to Churchville Church of God. and the whole group would go to your house to practice singing. I guess we were not that good at singing, but we tried. That seems like a lifetime ago. Just know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Clara

We are so sorry for your loss of dear Delbert. Our family is so lucky to have such sweet memories of wonderful times shared with him. Delbert was a grandfather to Matt - sharing his love of guns, hunting, fishing rods, fishing, boating, stacking wood in the heat of summer and then going out to lunch. For Miranda - Delbert was always whoever she wanted him to be, a tea party participant, a customer at a restaurant, or just watching her play dress up. Miranda would tell Delbert - "Your the best Delby!" She truly had it right! Delbert, you were the best and we will sure miss you! Lisa, thank you for calling us - it meant a lot for us to come and visit and spend time with all of you. Denny, thank you for sharing Delbert with us! We love you all. Love and prayers,
