My condolences to the entire Martin family in the passing of your family Matriarch. I will always treasure the many visits I shared with her when returning "home" to Harford County. She was a special lady and will be missed by all who knew her.

You were lucky to have your mom so many years. She had a long and productive life and you made her proud. I never had the opportunity to meet her but I have heard many nice things about her over the years.

My memories of Aunt Lilace go back to the "old farm" and include great times of playing with all the cousins. But the kitchen was the place I remember her most. She had the ability to put a great meal together no matter how many people were there. The rolls she made were the highlight for me. Mike and I will always remember the trip to the reunion in North Carolina in 2003. While Mike drove, Aunt Lilace was the co-pilot. She and Dad gave us a great tour of their childhood stomping grounds and the stories that went with those years. What a blessing that was!! Her honesty, straight forwardness, and easy smile would be character traits that we all should emulate! We will miss her!We regret that we cannot attend the celebration of her life. We send our love to the family. Mary and Mike

Mrs. Martin was an extremely lovely lady that Bob met thru her children. He had many memories of growing up on the farm with the twins, Sam and Steve.
She will be truly missed and but not forgotten. Bobby and Elaine

It was our great pleasure at Sechrist Auctioneers to have known and loved and respected Mrs. Martin. She was a sweet and genteel lady. A true Southern Belle. Fondest condolences from Bob & Millie, Tom & Darlene, John Hope Anderson and all. Blessings on Mrs. Martin and her memory, and on you and yours in her family.
