I'm so sorry. I'm sorry that there are so many things that you will miss out on. You won't get to go to my 18th birthday and tell me to stop having birthdays because I'm growing up too fast. You won't get to go dress shopping with me for prom. You won't get to see me graduate high school. You won't get to help me pick out and apply to colleges. You won't get to see me graduate college and start my career. We won't get to party in Las Vegas together when I turn 21. (I know you love it there) You won't get to visit me at my first house or help me figure out the first thing about 'grown up stuff.' You won't get to be at my engagement party, wedding or baby shower. So many questions. You've always said "I'll tell you when you're older." and now I'll never know. You've had all of this taken away from you and I'm just so sorry. I love you mommy and I always will.

Although our time knowing you was short we know that you were a wonderful mother and daughter who will be sadly missed. We are all saddened by your passing and hope that you find eternal peace in Heaven.

Though I never spent much time with her, she will always be engraved in my mind as a vibrant woman with boundless energy. Despite me occasionally showing up at her home at odd times, she always treated me with kindness and hospitality. My deepest condolences to her family and closest friends, whose grief I can only imagine.
